TRAVEL SOFTBALL
For kids 9-16 years old

BYC Fields 4 Travel Teams in the DELVAL League.

In order to be selected to one of these teams, a player must attend and participate in a tryout. Click here for tryout details. There is no guarantee that players selected in a given year will automatically be selected in a subsequent year. Players must try out every year. There is an additional fee if selected to one of these teams to cover DELVAL costs.

League age requirements/restrictions are as follows:

10 and Under
12 and Under
14 and Under
16 and Under

Age is determined based on the age the child was on 12/31/2007.

The DELVAL league is separated into levels of play and once the team is selected, the placement of the team is determined in order to afford for the best experience of each age group.

The FUNdamentals of softball: hitting, fielding, running the bases and pitching are the primary objectives of this league. (You can't spell fundamentals without FUN!)
