T-BALL LEAGUE
For Pre K and Kindergarten Kids

The BYC Girls T-Ball league will be made up similar to the Boys T-Ball League and Pre K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade kids that are at least 5 years old will play together in an instructional league to teach the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. All batters will hit the ball from a batting tee which is adjusted to a height that allows the batter to swing level.

All rostered players present for the game bat in order, whether playing defensively or not. Each player plays a minimum of two innings defensively. An adult coach is stationed beyond the infielders in order to provide instruction to all defensive players. The primary goal is to begin to instruct young players in the fundamentals of softball in a supportive team environment.

The Softball committee believes that the addition of this program will assist the youth of the community and it will add to the increased improvement in level of play at each of the successive age groups.

The FUNdamentals of softball: hitting, fielding, running the bases and pitching are the primary objectives of this league. (You can't spell fundamentals without FUN!)
